A NOTE FROM DICK RAY regarding the WTFc (Wilderness Trails Forever Campaign) June 1, 2018
The results of our fundraising efforts to help clear wilderness trails on the Pagosa Ranger District
will begin on June 4th, as the contracted crew from Southwest Conservation Corps will begin to
clear the West Fork of the San Juan trail into the Wenimuche Wilderness. This trailhead is located
about 13 miles NE of Pagosa Springs. At 2 PM the crew will start a week long foray that should reach
the Continental Divide trail by Friday. If you would like to witness the launch of actual event, be
advised that the trailhead is easily accessible but somewhat confined as to parking space.
All of you who contributed time, energy and money toward this effort can be pleased to be a part
of this project.

2017 CHRISTMAS PARTY SLIDESHOW
A big THANK YOU to all of the people responsible for the fun Party last night!
There was lots of good food and drink, conversation and fun contests!
Thank you to Tara McElhinney, Jo Ann Senzig, Tonya Lambert, Nancy Seay, Gertie Dixon and Rodney Pepper, Ted Wortman, and Rena Gallant for getting everything organized and set up! You all did a wonderful job and I think all of us that were there enjoyed ourselves and appreciated all that you did.
As you probably all know, this was a new twist on our Christmas party, instead of eating out at a restaurant or having our party catered, the chapter tried having a POT LUCK party with lots of appetizers, finger foods, BYOB and desserts, the party really turned out great!!
